Case Study
Nonprofit Strategy
A nonprofit organization was facing challenges related to leadership and staff transition, declining membership and shrinking budgets following the Covid pandemic. A variety of organizational and communications strategies were needed to restore the membership’s vitality, trust, engagement, and growth. We helped a team of leaders develop a new strategic framework, establishing a clear vision, mission, guiding principles and strategic objectives to align the organization as it rebuilt its operation. We held visioning sessions with stakeholder to present the strategic framework, collect feedback and engage the community. Letters, newsletters, digital communications, announcements, graphics, videos, and events delivered ongoing, engaging communications to establish trust and transparency. An inspiring fundraising campaign included a robust combination of communications materials and tactics, resulting in a significant increase in revenue and average gift. After two years, the organization attracted a new senior leader, new members, and the donors needed to restore a healthy budget.

Nonprofit Strategy and Development
A nonprofit organization sought to launch an endowment campaign to support its long-term operations and impact. We developed the campaign theme, logo, press releases, and messaging to support the five-year campaign. Simultaneously, we worked with the leadership team to update the organization’s strategic plan. We studied the relevant non-profit, community, NGO, and government ecosystem to help inform the strategic planning process, then worked toward creating an ambitious yet realistic plan to maximize impact.
